The NFL’s free agency negotiation window opens on Monday, and the formal start of free agency is scheduled for Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT, coinciding with the beginning of the new league year.

Josh Jacobs, an RB, joins the Packers

After spending three seasons with the Ravens, Wisconsin native Welch was signed to the Packers’ practice squad at the end of the 2023 preseason. In late September, he was added to the regular roster. He was a special teams player for 14 games (including the playoffs) and finished with seven coverage tackles.

Throughout the most of his first two NFL seasons (2022–2023), Jones, an exclusive-rights free agency, has been a member of the active roster; nevertheless, he has only made one appearance, on special teams. The Packers signed the Indiana native offensive tackle prospect as an undrafted free agent.
