A former wide receiver for the Detroit Lions is in the air.
Michigan’s Lansing (WILX) – Josh Reynolds, a wide receiver, was not cut by the Detroit Lions during his free agency. Reynolds formally signed a contract on Wednesday afternoon with the Denver Broncos.
Josh Reynolds, a former wide receiver with the Lions, is reportedly close to agreeing to a $14 million, two-year contract with the Denver Broncos.
This past season, Reynolds has 40 receptions for 608 yards and five touchdowns with the Lions. Reynolds and Denver agreed to a two-year contract extension worth up to $14 million. Jameson Williams now has the opportunity to play as the second wide receiver, and Donovan Peoples-Jones may get additional opportunities as a result. Additionally, Brad Holmes may choose to sign a second wide receiver through free agency or the draft. Detroit will have the 29th overall choice in the NFL Draft and will host the event from April 25–27.
