Even though the Browns’ top running back Nick Chubb and quarterback Deshaun Watson both suffered season-ending injuries in the 2023 campaign, the team managed to survive in the very competitive AFC North division and earn a spot in the NFL playoffs at a time when many had written them off.

Cleveland’s future appears bright, especially in light of some of the changes they’ve made during this NFL offseason, despite the fact that the season ended in disappointment when they were defeated by C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans in the first round of the playoffs.

Despite a long history of ailments, Cooper, a seasoned wide receiver, just finished his second season with the Browns, catching 72 catches for 1,250 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Cooper’s receiving touchdown total has decreased from nine to five from the previous season, but he has still shown his value to the organization, and an extension seems appropriate—especially if the team hopes to take advantage of being an AFC title candidate.
