It’s not goodbye but see you again as Mayor Affirms gives the final speech on his departure today….
Leaving one’s work may be due to different reasons, maybe due to health, personal or even due to unforeseen circumstances. Whatever the reason maybe, it’s a process where one needs to be emotionally, physically and mentally prepared.
I for one just recently left my fist job ever, yes I was employed after I graduated college in this great company with great people. I stayed there for more than 8 years and overcame each challenge and managed to still smile at the end of the day.
Leaving due to health and personal reasons is hard that they still try to make you stay, we bonded and even treat each other as family.
I believe that if you are afraid yet excited at the same time is when you know you are heading to the right path. I am up to a challenge to be unemployed for a specific amount of time where I will be able to accomplish most in my “to-do list”, like travelling to contemplate about my future. What do I really want to do? To pursue my dreams and aspirations where when I work I wont consider it as a job but my passion fulfilled. I want to be in a stable yet challenging environment where I can still grow and learn. I need to be fully refreshed so I can give 101% of myself to the new endeavor I’m about to face.
As they say there is no goodbyes just see you around. I thank all those people I met throughout my job. I am thankful for all the learning experience and the joy of being part of this family.
I hope and wish for all the best for all of you. May you find and fulfill your inner passions and be fulfilled in whatever you do.
Cheers to all our memories. These are just some of the hundred of photos we had.
