Jordan Love Gives His “Phenomenal” Packers Teammate A Lot Of Credit
Having spent the first few years of his NFL career sitting behind famous quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love was finally given the chance to start as the Green Bay Packers’ starting signal-caller last season.
Love had some early struggles, but as he grew more at ease in his new position, his play improved, and the Packers were able to secure a postseason berth.
Love recently discussed some of his 2023 season experiences on the podcast “The Pivot,” highlighting the significance of cornerback Jaire Alexander to the Packers’ success (via Ryan Clark on Twitter).
“It is evident from the field what kind of player he is. He is a terrific player, and I have nothing but praise for him.
Love made these remarks in response to a question concerning some of Alexander’s antics during the last year, both on and off the field, that brought the cornerback to notice.
The quarterback for Green Bay was forced to giggle and refer to Alexander as “a character.”
Love and Alexander have both established themselves as two of the team’s best young leaders, especially considering their ages.
Love and Alexander will probably play a major role if Green Bay is to be successful in the next seasons.
The Packers had a rough start to the previous season, but they overcame it to finish strong and even defeat the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs.
In 2024, Love, Alexander, and the other members of the Green Bay squad will probably want to get off to a great start and see if they can help the Packers snap their two-year losing streak without winning the NFC North.
