Despite “a queue of clubs ready to pay €50 million,” Barcelona’s teenage forward will not be leaving.

Vitor Roque, a teenage forward, has not had the easiest start to life at FC Barcelona. The 19-year-old, who joined from Athletico Paranaense in January, has struggled to get playing time under Xavi Hernandez.

The young player has not yet received game time, although displaying some promising traits and even scoring a few goals.

Roque has reportedly expressed concern that Barcelona may loan him away the following season so that he can play frequently and advance.

Vitor Roque won’t be leaving Barcelona in the summer, either on loan or permanently, as stated by his agent Andre Cury, especially while other teams are still interested in him.

It should not be forgotten that Barça signed Roque last year after defeating numerous elite European teams, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and PSG.

In exchange for a set cost of €30 million and another €31 million in add-ons, Athletico lost his services to the Catalans.

Cury also made it clear that neither the player nor the team is thinking about splitting up in the foreseeable future, either permanently or temporarily.

“Vitor is thrilled at Barça, and a loan is not possible.” He is eager for additional playing time to demonstrate his superior physical and cerebral skills. According to Fabrizio Romano, Cury stated, “Xavi loves him very much.”

“The truth is that teams are in line and willing to spend €50 million for Vitor Roque right now. No matter where Vitor is loaned out, he is not going anywhere. He’s committed to being successful at Barça,” he continued.

Although there have been rumors of a possible loan out, neither the player nor Barcelona have chosen to take this possibility into consideration.

For the remainder of the current campaign, Roque is expected to continue adjusting at Barcelona before beginning anew in the following one.
